Why Micro Greens
Microgreens are seedlings of edible vegetables and herbs. They are incredibly nutritious and contain higher levels of active compounds, vitamins and nutrients. They are also packed with intense flavors. Grown indoors, they’ll yield year round when taken care of. Microgreens don’t only add color to your dishes, but they’re also great in juices, smoothies, salads, sandwiches and soups.
Microgreens are a rich source of polyphenols and antioxidants linked to lower the risk of certain diseases like heart disease, Alzheimer’s, diabetes and certain cancers.
About us
We are a small family run business located in Huntley Illinois with a desire to provide the local community with microgreens and produce. We take custom orders only on subscription basis. Our orders take 2 weeks to grow.
At Nature Garnish Microgreens we focus on growing more sustainable microgreens with organic growing medium. We use only non-GMO seeds and our products are never treated with chemicals or pesticides. We can deliver freshly harvested microgreens every week or monthly.
